Rebecca is a warm, compassionate, and client-centered Registered Psychologist who uses a strength-based approach when supporting her clients. She values creating a non-judgemental and safe environment, working with adolescents and adults to build on their capacity to embrace life’s challenges.

Rebecca has experience working with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, complex trauma, attachment and interpersonal difficulties, emotion dysregulation, life transitions, poor body image and eating disorders, personality disorders and chronic health issues. Rebecca values holistic and evidence-based care, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). Rebecca has experiencing working with adolescents and adults across a variety of settings including Private Practice, Headspace, a High School, and a University Clinic.

Rebecca completed her studies at the University of New South Wales and the University of Wollongong. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Master of Professional Psychology (with Distinction). During her postgraduate studies Rebecca was awarded the Viney Professional Psychology award in recognition of her excellent academic performance and being an outstanding practitioner.

Rebecca is inspired by the bravery of her clients in allowing her into their emotional world and is passionate about empowering them to use this vulnerability to create change.

Rebecca offers appointments at Calvert & Associates Psychology on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
